Rebecca performed her one-woman show, Unspoken, at the Old Fitzroy Theatre in Woolloomooloo in 2005. The script and Rebecca’s performance were awarded at the 2005 Sydney Theatre Awards. She toured Australia with the show in 2006. She also performed a smaller 2007 tour and recorded the show for ABC Radio National’s Airplay that same year.

In 2007 she began a Masters in Research (Playwriting) with QUT online. She was also a part of Hothouse Theatre’s Month in the Country, the AWG Mindframe Stage and Screen workshop and a MEAA John Bell Masterclass.
